Owls Clinch Fourth Consecutive Trip to NCLL Postseason, Set to Face Albany

The Owls roll into the 2019 postseason winning 6 of their last 7 games against NCLL opponents.

With the close of the NCLL regular season last weekend, 7 opening round playoff matchups were announced each with a bid to the NCLL National Tournament on the line. This marks the Owls 4th consecutive berth to the NCLL postseason competing in Division I. The #1 overall seed Navy earned a first round bye.

The Temple Owls (9-5, No. 10) will travel to Upstate New York, to take on the Albany Great Danes (5-2, No. 11). Albany were Empire East Conference Champions this season, going undefeated in conference play. This will be the first ever matchup between the two clubs.

The winner will clinch a berth to the NCLL National Tournament in Annapolis, MD next weekend. Quarterfinal and semifinal games will take place May 4th with the National Championship on May 5th.
